Payments
Payments are accepted through PayPal. You do not have to have a membership with PayPal to pay with PayPal. Orders will be shipped the day following verification of payment.

Shipping & Handling
Orders will be shipped via UPS, unless you specify another shipping option. You may also select the option to have your order shipped USPS Priority Mail. Please allow 2-4 business days for delivery of any orders. Please note that we are unable to compute the shipping and handling fees until you check out via the shopping cart when you enter you shipping address. Items that are damaged or lost in the mail cannot be refunded; you are encouraged to add insurance to your order to further protect your purchase. In the event the item has been insured and is lost or damaged, filing of claims will be the responsibility of the buyer. If no insurance is placed on the item Blue Cottage Beads is not responsible. If you select insurance for your order, you will receive an email with details of the transaction once your order ships.

Refunds and Exchanges
I endeavor to portray the items as clearly as possible with a picture and description, but in the event you are not pleased with your item, I will be glad to refund your purchase. Exchange inquiries must be made within 48 hours of receiving the item to the contact me link on this site. The item must be sent back within three calendar days of receipt. When you are returning the item, insurance is recommended to ensure it is received. Any returned item needs to be in its original condition. Once I have received the item, a full refund minus shipping and handling charges will be given within three days of receipt of the returned item. If the item is not returned within the three days I will be unable to process the exchange.

Repairs
As in all items that are handmade there are instances when an item may break and require repair. I will be glad to repair any item free of charge within 10 days of the date of purchase. Repairs after that date are the buyer’s responsibility. If the item has been damaged due to shipping and was insured, the item can be returned for repair. I charge $10 for basic restringing of an item. This fee includes the shipping cost to get the item back to you via insured USPS Priority Mail

Custom Orders
I am happy to consider custom orders. Since all my items are originals, I can not replicate the exact item; however I can make an item that is similar in nature. This is also true of an item that may have been sold. Please feel free to contact me about your custom order request via Custom Order link on this site. Customer orders may be subject to extra fees given the nature of their request and the costs of the stones involved.
