A little about me...

Blue Cottage Beads started out as therapy. I work at a bank and "crunch" numbers all day. I found that even after an hour and half commute home, my head was still full of numbers and calculations. I decided a little creative therapy might be in order.

I have always been creative at heart. I guess you could say I came by it naturally since my great-grandmother was an artist in upstate New York, and my grandmother was a music teacher. In my case the apple didn't fall far from the tree, since I enjoy painting and love to serenade my fellow commuters on the way home.

Like most women, I enjoy a new piece of jewelry from time to time so I thought about jewelry making as another avenue to channel my creativity.

I started wearing my creations to work and to my delight, my friends and co-workers loved them! After wearing my new designs I was continually asked if I thought about selling them. After much soul searching and unending support from my wonderful husband, Blue Cottage Beads was born.

Each piece is an original so no two are alike. My web page shows different styles and color combinations. I am also open to doing custom orders that may be similar in nature.

It is my hope that you will enjoy these creations and treasure them as I do.
